19-2 Color Interpolation for still Camera Image Based on spatial correlation of Pixels

Abstract

In this paper, we propose a new color interpolation for still camera image based on spatial correlations in RGB cells. The missing color cells are estimated from the peripheral R, G or B cells. This algorithm calculates the ratio of known pixel in target location to known neighborhood pixel and interpolates missing pixels.
