It is currently discussed how to multichannel productions on the many international conventions, because audio format of digital broadcasting in Western countries has 6 audio channels. This paper describes the trend of multichannel audio productions by the Western broadcasting stations and views the microphone techniques of multichannel audio in musical productions.
