This paper proposes an eddictive lossless coding scheme for a large numver of medical images generated by a CT. This method uses the previous image as the reference for prediction in a series of medical images. A computer simulation shows that this proposed scheme in more effective than a schieme using only Spatial prediction, which is used in the JPEG lossless mode.
