Abstract
In Multi-channel CATV transmission systems, non-linearity of amplifiers causes intermodulation(IM). IM distortions impair the signal in CATV transmission and degrade the BER in digital channels. We have measured C/IM vs. BER of 64QAM and amplitude probability distribution of IM in full digital CATV systems. In this paper the experimental results are described.
