Abstract
A quantitative geothermic remote method was applied to Kanto Plain using NOAA data and evaporation rate, thermal inertia, and hear flux ware obtained from the analysis. A preliminary interpretation from land use point of view shows that higher evaporation rates well correspond to forested areas and higher thermal inertia in the flat areas corresponds to wet areas. However, some anomalies are observed in hear flux values in some areas.
