Abstract
With Image-Based Rendering method, the virtual viewpoint images are obtained by the multiple-camera images. However, most of the conventional systems sacrifice spatial or temporal resolution because of the heavy amount of input images. If the image sensor outputs externally-selected pixels only, the amount of input can be effectively reduced. In this paper we describe the design of selective pixel output image sensor. We observed this function under 540 frames/second.
