11-6 A modified method of adjusting pixel values of digital watermarks embedded in bit planes

Abstract

Digital watermark can be hidden in bit planes of an image. This paper proposes a modified method of adjusting a pixel value with an inverted bit. The computer simulation showed that the proposed scheme reduces change of a pixel value even when a high-order bit is inverted, and retains image quality.
