We have fabricated white-light-emittmg organic electroluminescent devices with RGB emitting layers, and have increased the luminance by controlling the emission pattern. The organic electroluminescent devices have been applied to an assistant luminaire for an emcee or a newscaster, demonstrating to be practical forthe broadcasting illumination because of the good color rendering property in addition to the low weight and thin thickness.
