Abstract
IT technology and IP network are proceeding rapidly. In this paper, we apply them to program production system in broadcast. We have studied a distributed system in which contents and equipments are distributed and can be used from anywhere. Now we introduce a program production system based on edit description. To implement the system, we examine to use SMPTE standardized UMID and MXF wrapping.
