4-3 Development of a network analysis tool for broadcasting-wave relay implementation

Abstract

We have developed broadcasting-wave relay network techniques in order to expand service areas of DTTB (Digital Teerestrial Television Broadcasting). To apply the techniques to real networks properly, an accurate analysis method is necessary for transmission characteristics estimation. This paper describes a network analysis tool which yields key parameters such as CNR-BER performance, Equivalent CNR, Modulation Error Ratio at each knot on network together with effects of equalizing apparatus.
