6-1 A study on Video Monitoring and Distribution System for IPv6 Networks

Abstract

One of promising applications for IPv6 network is a video monitoring and distribution system, since each terminal will have fixed and global IP addresses and can be reached from any terminal on the network. In this paper, several access scenarios are introduced considering the migration phase from IPv4 to IPv6. The terminal configurations and protocol stacks are also proposed to enable the access scenarios. The system is tested on the real IPv6 networks including mobile networks and shown the system works as designed..
