抄録

We have proposed "Free Viewpoint VoD system" which reconstructs free viewpoint images using images from one viewpoint and depth maps. This paper proposes a method for transmission of depth information, which extracts the exact background region using background mask in order to reduce the required amount of data without spoiling the accuracy of reconstructed images.
