Abstract
In this paper, we propose an effective H.264 decoding method for mobile services. We had developed the method of switching from HDTV(High Definition Television) segment to H.264 segment dynamically according to the state of electric field strength to maintain enough quality of video. There are two problems to be solved for above method. One is the flicker noise when the segment switching is occurred, and the other is the block noise due to the instantaneous break of data. To solve these problems, we had developed the double decoding method with keeping simultaneous time stamp, and the IDR(Instantaneous Decoder Refresh) timing decoding method, that is, it makes use of an Intra frame refreshment effectively. Also we build a test system and verify the effect of proposed method. Test results show the effectiveness of our approach.
