6-3 Coverage area for ISDB-T mobile reception with 4-branch space diversity

Abstract

We have developed a 4-branch space diversity receiving system to improve ISDB-T mobile reception performance. We investigate coverage area for HDTV mobile reception with our system in Nagoya. It is shown that coverage area is inside 75 dBμV/m contour drawn by the field strength prediction software for fixed reception.
