抄録

The authors study on a method for estimating perceived picture quality for multimedia applications based on full reference framework. The proposed method applies the blockiness of the picture and time variance of PSNR as the indices of objective picture quality. Computer simulation shows that the proposed method can estimate perceived picture quality at a correlation coefficient above 0.90.
