抄録

Since H.264/AVC has many kinds of coding modes for the improvement of coding efficiency, it requires long processing time to decide the best mode. This paper proposes a new mode selection method using Neural Network, which enables both decreasing of processing time for mode evaluations and controlling of image quality.
