14-2 A Study on the Method for Extraction of Features on the Lip Area in Facial Expressions

Abstract

This paper presents the method for extraction of the features on the lip area. It is difficult to extract the lip area of the testee presses the expression only by color system. Then we tied to extract the lip area by adding information of a continuous frame and a shape of lip line to color system. We compared it with the previous methods. Moreover, we examined the method for extracting feature quantifies from the extracted lip area.
