Abstract
In this paper, we propose a new selective visual attention model to extract the region of interest (ROI) for video sequences. In order to extract the ROI, we use multiple salient features such as edge, red-green color contrast, blue-yellow color contrast, and motion, based on the human visual system. By comparative experiments with a human subjective evaluation, we show the effectiveness of the proposed attention model.
