18-7 Improvement of Speed and accuracy of motion estimation by using sub-frame images

Abstract

Motion estimation is one of the key techniques in video processing. In general, the block matching is used for the motion estimation, hi this paper, we propose the method of block matching which uses sub-frame images. The method improves the speed and accuracy by comparison with the existing block matching.
