22-8 Effect of Foreground images on self motion induced by immersive display

Abstract

We have conducted experiments to examine the effect of the foreground image on the strength of visually induced self motion by using a CAVE-like immersive projection display. The results showed that the foreground images influenced the magnitude of perceived motion.
