4-3 The video correction support system equipped with face detection

Abstract

A video correction system for broadcast materials is described. The system automatically detects human faces in the input video sequence as target areas, then estimates appropriate parameter sets of white/black/gamma levels for the detected targets. The user interface is designed to be simple enough for non-technical users to operate.
