Abstract

We developed a real-time electronic zoom system to generate an HDTV video from a Super Hi-vision source. The trimming area is selected by a common robot camera remote controller and maximum zoom ratio is 4X. From the results of MTF and S/N measurement, generated HDTV images have minimum required quality for use in HDTV program production.
