3-3 A study of various Error Correction Codes applying to the ISDB-T

Abstract

IDSB-T system uses Convolution code and Viterbi decode for FEC (Forward Error Correction). On the other hand, ISDB-S2 uses LDPC code and Cellular system uses Turbo code. We study characteristic receptions applying such other error correction codes to the ISDB-T. This paper shows improvements of equivalent CNR under both AWGN and mobile reception environment.
