A double-frequency and -voltage driving technique is proposed for luminous efficacy improvement of Xe content PDP. The sustain pulse consists of a low frequency, high voltage pulse and high frequency, low voltage pulse. Luminance and luminous efficacy of 50% Xe panel increase by 40% and 60%, respectively.
