7-8 Nonlinear color image-decomposition method with color-shrinkage and its application to image oversampling

Abstract

Recently, we have improved our previously proposed BV-G nonlinear image-decomposition method, by introducing the hard color-shrinkage instead of the soft color-shrinkage. This paper applies the improved nonlinear image-decomposition method to the image oversampling problem, in which each component separated by the decomposition method is separately processed with an interpolation method suitable to each component.
