2-8 The Correction of Color-Matching Functions Using Genetic Algorithm and Gaussian Approximation

Abstract

In this study, color-matching functions are corrected to reduce the gap between colorimetric values and human perception of color. Color-matching functions are approximated by Gaussian functions and then are optimized using genetic algorithm to optimize the parameters of the Gaussian functions. Experimental results show perceptual color matching was improved.
