Abstract
A new electrostatic-focusing field emitter for FEA (field emitter array)-HARP (High-gain Avalanche Rushing amorphous Photoconductor) image sensor was proposed and simulated. The simulation results showed that the new emitter improved the emission current and suppressed the bombardment of electrons to the insulator which deteriorated the reliability of FEA.
