4-10 The Effect of "Depth-Scale Guide" on Stereoscopic Images

Abstract

The depth of the stereoscopic images are changed by shifting L/R images horizontally. However we cannot perceive the change of the depth accurately because of the perceptual factors like size consistency. Therefore, we propose "Depth-scale guide" for the stereoscopic images. In a subjective experiment we confirmed the effect of "Depth-scale guide".
