19-1 Design of a Drain Only Modulation Pixel for a TOF Range Image Sensor with High Range Resolution

Abstract

This paper presents Drain only modulation (DOM) pixels for Time-of-Flight (TOF) Range Image Sensor with High range resolution. Proposed DOM pixel with sub-pixel architecture allows us to obtain both High-speed charge modulation and high sensitivity. Parasitic sensitivity and charge transfer characteristic are investigated using a device simulator.
