Abstract
Many foreign-born residents in Japan feel that their limited Japanese comprehension prevents them from understanding Japanese news. However they have a certain level of Japanese. Taking advantage of their ability, we initiated research for providing easy Japanese news, and made assistant tools for rewriting Japanese news into easy Japanese.
