24-3 Indexing of TV Program Scenes Using Social Media

Abstract

We propose a method for automatically annotating scenes of TV programs with keywords representing their content. We achieve this by collecting and analyzing tweets related to the TV program. The main feature of our method is the extraction of keywords based on person names. We conducted an experiment for comparative evaluation and confirmed the effectiveness of our method.
