4-3 Blind Image Restoration based on Total Variation Regularization and Shock Filter for Blurred Images

Abstract

We propose a novel blind image restoration method based on the total variation (TV) regularization and the shock filter. Experimental results show that our proposed method improves picture quality, especially dark portions, and the computational time of our method is almost 3 times faster than that of the conventional method.
