In the calculations of the redundant DCT, there exist the same calculations between adjacent overlapping blocks. A necessary amount of the calculations can be reduced by storing and reusing the same calculation results of the adjacent blocks. In this paper, we propose an efficient calculation procedure for the denoising method with the redundant DCT.
