We have been studying dual-polarized MIMO, ultra-multilevel OFDM transmission scheme to enable large-volume content services such as 8K Super Hi-Vision in terrestrial broadcasting. We evaluated the transmission characteristics of IF-TTLs with the dual-polarized MIMO, ultra-multilevel OFDM signals by laboratory experiments. We confirmed the feasibility of inter-transmitter link using two IF-TTLs that are currently used for the conventional digital terrestrial broadcasting.
