23-8 Multi-view imaging for autostereoscopic display using multi-layer LCDs

Abstract

We have developed a multi-view imaging system for autostereoscopic display using multi-layer LCDs. We make multi-view images from 2D image using depth information and display the image according to the result of viewer tracking. We split the 2D image to stacked LCDs by DFD technique so that continuous 3D image can be perceived.
