23-9 Retinal projection type super multi-view head-mounted 3D display

Abstract

We propose a retinal projection type super multi-view head-mounted display (HMD). The smooth motion parallax provided by the super multi-view technique enables a precise superposition of virtual 3D images on the real scene. Thus, although proposed HMD is a monocular HMD, it provides observers with natural 3D images.
