抄録

We developed a compression rate control method for 8K Super Hi-Vision recorder. In this method, a compression parameter is estimated using the image sampled at a macro-block from original 8K image and using a statistically identified look-up table. The real-time processing can be realized on a practical scale of circuit by this method.
