Abstract

In recent years, video image resolution is greatly enhanced, and it is necessary to satisfy the requirement of high speed processing. To accelerate the encoding process, we propose a fast PU mode selection method that utilizes the variance of CU and enables to reduce encoding time by more than 30%.
