Abstract
Toward the migration to a next-generation system, we are considering the proposed speci cation for terrestrial broadcasting. The proposed speci cation inherits the advantages of the current system and various parameters are modi ed. It also incorporates the latest technologies, such as LDPC code and non-uniform constellations, and improves exibility and spectrum uti- lization efficiency. This report presents an overview of the proposed speci cation and the results of laboratory tests using prototype equipment.
