Person's Position and Direction Identification from Simply Specified POIs in Real Space

Abstract

We propose a method to identify person’s position and direction from POIs specified by expressions such as “shop A is in front of me” or “shop B is on my right” by restricting search area using pedestrian network data and calculating compatibility scores from each pair of the position and the direction.
