Abstract
I report on the issues related on display devices at the conference and the international standards argued in the meetings that took place just before the conference. These issues enable us to match colors between different color devices easily and communicate with others realistically. Then, I present you on many kinds of gamut mapping methods, which are different for every image and device. This shows practical use of ICC profiles. I also report on the recent activities of the ISO, IEC and CIE in Japan.
