Abstract
A gain of a single microstrip antenna increases by stacking a parasitic element at a distance of 0.5 λ above the feed element. Further, a stacked microstrip array antenna has a high gain and high efficiency. In this paper, to make clear how the gain increases, we experimentally discuss direcitivities of two element microstrip antenna array with paracitic elements on the relation between element distance and mutual coupling.
