Abstract
Dispersed of the emission period in a field causes deterioration in the motion picture quality of the sub-field PDP. To alleviate this problem, we have been developed a drive method which compresses the emission period on the DC PDP, The emission periods of each sub-fields are also divided into smaller units and optimized the arrangement. The emission patterns are controlled adaptively by signal processing. In order to assess the effectiveness of these methods we used simulations to calculate the S/N ratio for the quantity of disturbance.
