Abstract
The track pitch on a disk becomes narrower as the recording density becomes higher. So, recording at the optimum recording power is very important to maintain high signal quality for land/groove (L/G) recording. In this paper, we studied power calibration using a wobbled groove. We can determine the optimum recording power easier by using the side band spectrum which appears due to the wobble influence.
