Abstract
Phase change mark simulator is investigated. Nucleation, crystal growth, and recrystallization at amorphous/crystal boundary are taken into consideration. Crystallization is evaluated with 3-dimensional thermal analysis. Modeling of phase change process, numerical treatments, and evaluation of crystallization speed are mentioned. Mark shapes of experiments and simulation are in good agreement. Calculated recrystallization area also agree with the area obtained from actual marks
