Abstract
Digital broadcast begins substantially soon in U.S. and Japan. Multiples exist in digital broadcast, HDTV and SDTV are selected every program and be broadcasted. It is hoped that the multiformat is obtained from 1 studio camera in program production. It is generally difficult to realize multiformat while maintaining performance and stability. We adopt the method that gets the output of 1080i, 480P, and 480i by switching the drive mode of 1080iCCD. We report the 1080iCCD drive method, the signal processing and also transmission technology.
