Abstract
OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) is robust under multipath fading conditions, and is a suitable method for terrestrial digital broadcasting systems. Accordingly, OFDM is available to mobile reception, and has possibility of SFN (Single Frequency Network). This pepar proposes a hierarchical modulation multiplexing for the transmission between relay stations in SFN. Further we evaluated the influence of the hierarchical modulation multiplexing on broadcasting waves by computer simulation, and experimentation with a built test equipment.
