Abstract
We have researched a regional Personal-Computer (PC) communication network system to provide group communication services to regional community members cost-effectively. Any protocol including IP can be used in the system, because bridging services or LAN environments are provided to users where Ethernet packets are transferred. Private IP addresses are used independently in each region. A new dynamic DNS that simplifies the user setting and also makes good use of address resources is proposed. A DNS server is connected with a DHCP server by using MAC addresses which are applied group communication.
