Abstract
Individual identification is an important technology for Our dailylife. Recently, a great demand for individual identification has risen rapidly in various fields such as measure against security, crime investigation, and protection of personal data. In my department office, as one of the technology of biometrics, we are studying about pinna images for individual identification. We are also studying about individual identification using molforogy operation and analysis of pinna shapes. In this report, we examine about identification of 17 feature lines defined on pinna images, examine about therm using principal component analysis, and discriminate pinna using correlation of composited feature lines obtained by principal component analysis.
