Abstract

An improved single-chip digital micromirror device(DMD) projector is put forward in this report. The projector consists mainly of an ultraviolet(UV) metal halide(MH) lamp, a chip DMD, a projection lens and a luminescent projection screen. The projector has high brightness, good color purity, simple structure, lower cost and no misconvergence.
